Tot School...

... will be starting up for us again in September!  From September, Ollie will have just one more year at home, before he goes off to Nursery School (from age 3 - 4 years) for a year and then onto Primary School.

I am excited about the plan I am putting together for September and am really hoping he enjoys it!  I am a little bit worried though, about teaching him too much, or teaching him in the wrong way.  By this I mean, I don't want him to go into Nursery School knowing EVERYTHING that they might teach him.  He would get bored.  How do I know how much to teach him myself?

I can't believe in a year, my little tiny man will be going to school for about 3 1/2 hours a day, though I am excited.  I think given another year he will be totally ready to get away from me!  He is so sociable and I know school will be so good for him.  I can't wait to go to all the school open days in December to help make our top 4 list!

I can't imagine him in a little school uniform!

  1. Hi there, just popping over from the SITS blog frog forum.

I'm sure you'll be fine, sounds like a lot of fun teaching your wee one new things.

  2. I love that pre-school age. They get so excited to learn new things. My son just turned three and is constantly saying "I do it Mommy."

This is my first time at your blog. I found it through the SITS blog frog. BTW, I love your layout!

  4. Hi Emma!

They grow up so fast! My *baby* is now 20 and towers above me at 6'5" but it seems like yesterday he was a toddler! Enjoy each moment! They fly faster than you can imagine!

I came here from your blog critique request on BlogFrog. I really don't see anything I would change! Your colors are bright and happy but not overwhelming. Your background is white so the text is easy to read and the font is also easy on the eyes. The only thing I noted is that you might want to WRITE more often. (But I write a LOT so I may be the wrong one to ask.) It's just that there is a whole lot more Mr. Linky on your front page than there is actual blog. Understand?

Wishing you blessings in life and blogging!
