Can you please bring him back and take away this grumpy one instead!
Ollie has been SO cranky for the past week and I ahve not got a clue what is wrong. Maybe it is just his age, or maybe he is teething... but I can't put my finger in there to check it out. Luckily he is sleeping ok at night which means I have some energy to deal with the grumps during the day! If he is teething, he is on his very last 4 teeth! He already has 16 and I think at his age they just go up to 20 don't they?
One of the things that is keeping me sane during the week (amongst the grumps) is his cute speech... he says "touch... but it sounds more like "dutch"... when something is hot!! I assume he got this from me saying "Hot! Don't touch!!". It is so cute. He also now knows how to say "biccie" and I must hear that 30 times a day.
Happy Friday Follow! I'm your newest follower. Have a great weekend, Lois x
ReplyDeleteMy son has these spurts as well! One day he'll be fine, a week later I want to make an exchange! Haha. Okay I am totally kidding, its never that bad, but I think it could definitely be teething! Good luck - I hope your happy baby comes back soon!
ReplyDeleteI have the terrible twos big time at my house. He used to be really good too.
ReplyDeleteOh, I have a 20-month old too and I swear it must be the age. Nothing makes her happy and she's whiny all the time. But like your little guy - she is sleeping at night for the most part.

When our youngest used to get grumpy we'd tell her to go take a shower and wash the grumps off!
ReplyDeleteI'd say he does have the grumps from teething. Every time Lo gets like that, it is always those darn teeth that are making her that way.

I once read in a parenting magazine that "if you've got a crab, put him in water." The tub now, a kiddie pool soon, even a small bowl of water to sink boats in...all for some reason help little kids forget what they're so irritated about.
ReplyDeleteVisiting here from SITS :-)
ReplyDeletePoor wee thing! It does sound like he's teething. I like the water play idea that Deb said.
